in Buonvconvento (Siena), Tuscany, Italy.

The Agriturismo Fattoria Pieve a Salti is located right in the middle of the rolling hills of „Crete Senesi“, the atmospheric landscape south of Siena.
The charming medieval towns of Buonvonvento and Montalcino are only a few miles away.

Adjoining the Fattoria, the stables not only welcome house guests but other hotels' guests and local visitors as well. Horseback-riding can be arranged throughout the year, independently from Pieve a Salti's opening hours or general tourist seasons.
Among our twenty reliable horses, you can find thoroughbreds as well as half-breeds. We offer accompanied riding tours and riding lessons in Italian, German and English.
We specialize in guided tours through our beautiful open country. As one of the world's most beautiful and noble creatures, horses enable us to enjoy nature in a natural and relaxing way.
Beginners or passionate, advanced riders, children, grown-ups or the whole family – everyone finds matching offers in our flexible program.

Deer and wild boar in the morning fog...
...can be seen on our early morning tours, leading to ponds and small woods. If desired, you will be getting some lessons in horseback-riding along the way, but no experience at all is needed. Of course you can enjoy the quiet landscape later in the morning or in the afternoon. And where would you find a more romantic sunset than mounted on a horse inmidst Tuscany's pastel colored hills?

It gets more lively,...

when kids get together to spend some time on horseback. Whoever wants to try out horseriding or see how Cowboy and Indians made their way from one place to another will easily find like-minded friends.
The more experienced young riders can get together for an one- or several hour adventurous ride.

At certain times we offer the „Three-Castle-Rides“ – four to five half- or whole-day rides per week. The ideal visiting-time for everyone, who wants to explore the Crete Senesi solely on horseback.
